General comments:

[weedavid]: Found it really difficult to choose the "best" three images. Great competition
[NeilLawson]: Lots of nice photos, and some clever ideas.  I might be wrong, but I think most of these would look better in colour - there seemed to be few photos that really needed to be in monochrome??
[pops]: "Left on the Shelf" gets the best humor award LOL!  "1875" would have been my top favorite if it had more contrast.  I also liked "Cadiz Cathedral Steps" but I've got only three votes - bummer!
[iso3200]: I new when I set this challenge as an open round, it would be difficult on judgement day and I wasn't wrong. Really good entries from all, and exceptionally pleased to see both old names and new names participating.
[d.a.n.]: wow...so many great photos, it was hard to choose...if I did honourable mentions, I'd probably list half the entries
[Paul D]: Great images, very hard to pick only three.
[Jim B (MSP)]: Very hard to choose. So many good photos.
[Ann Chaikin]: Enjoyed this challenge very much..
[donellis]: Difficult to judge this one... I liked the composition and cropping care in "eros" but felt the toning wasn't right for the subject. And I loved "Chinese vegetables" but wanted to see it in forced mono rather than natural. Just my taste and interpretation for this challenge.
